If you don’t want to use our platform any longer to publish and sell calendar, you will first have to withdraw all of your projects that have been released for publication by CALVENDO:

Go to “My Projects” > “Projects approved by CALVENDO” and for each project, click on the red button to the right to withdraw it. Respecting a transition period of four weeks, your projects will then be deactivated. No more orders for your products will be accepted following this period. However, should any articles still be on the market, they will not be recalled but instead sold or destroyed.

Once you have withdrawn all of your projects, you will have to deactivate your account, using the “Deactivate Account” button which you will find in your account under “My Profile” > “My access data and my language”.

Should you have deactivated your account and wish a final statement, please send a message to info@calvendo.com. The final settlement of your account and payment of any outstanding royalties will be done in the quarter following the deactivation of your account. Once the appeal period for the account settlement and the period of obligation to retain tax documents has passed, all your profile data and project data will be removed from the system.

You can find project status information in your account under “My Projects”. You will see four possible status information options on the left and you can click on each one of them:

- Projects in progress: Projects that you’re currently working on and haven’t submitted to the CALVENDO jury yet or projects that have been reviewed by the jury and returned to you because amendments need to be made and suggestions have been provided how to improve your project.

- Projects submitted but not yet approved: Projects that are currently being reviewed by the CALVENDO jury.

- Projects approved by CALVENDO: Projects that have successfully been released for publication by the CALVENDO jury and are being retailed.

- Projects rejected by CALVENDO or out of print: Projects that haven’t been released for publication by the CALVENDO jury, i.e. have been finally rejected, or have been unpublished after initital publication.

A CALVENDO project is basically a “data container” that holds your material (photos, graphic designs, texts, etc.) along with all information pertaining to the layout, printing, invoicing and description of the product.
A product is an individual article (e.g., a calendar) that we offer retailers for sale.

In order to receive your royalties from calendar sales, you will have to enter your bank details in “My Profile”. We encrypt all sensitive information before it is transmitted and saved! For more details, please read our Privacy Policy.

If you want to create calendars on our English or French-language platform, you will have to use our CALVENDO online editing tool (Adobe Flash technology). The system is easy to use and will take you through the process step-by-step. Just give it a go!

If you work on our German-language platform, you can create projects either using the CALVENDO tool or design your work offline, using a program such as InDesign, and then upload a PDF file.

Yes, we have special editions, such as the CALVENDO Gold Edition which honours calendars that are of particularly high quality every year.

The CALVENDO author page is a very good option for you to present and promote yourself in our product gallery. Author pages that are published on our site are also of relevance for internet search engines and retailers. You can easily set up an author page under “My Profile” > “My author page”. In this section, you will also find a link that you can send out or put on your own website to direct people to your CALVENDO author page.
