Meine Bilder sollen wenig Assoziationen zum alltäglichen Leben erwecken.
Eher Einblicke in eine entrückte Welt fernab von Ablenkungen, Süchten und Äußerlichkeiten ermöglichen,

Außer der Fotografie setze ich mich intensiv mit der Malerei auseinander. Früh schon berührte mich die Harmonie und Schönheit der Formensprache des Jugendstils. In den Bildern der Präraffaeliten und der Symbolisten fand ich viele Elemente meiner Gefühlswelt wieder.

Bildthemen, welche schon früh meine Malerei bestimmten, finden heute ihre Vollendung in meiner Fotografie. In meinen Bildwerken soll das Abbild des Sichtbaren ein Medium für die Übermittlung einer tieferen Realität sein.

My pictures are supposed to create little associations with everyday life.
Rather, to give insights into a distant world far removed from distractions, addictions and externals,

Apart from photography, I deal intensively with painting. I was touched by the harmony and beauty of the Art Nouveau style. In the pictures of the Pre-Raphaelites and the Symbolists I found many elements of my emotional world.

Pictorial themes, which determined my painting early on, find their completion in my photography today. In my sculptures, the image of the visible should be a medium for the transmission of a deeper reality.

En dehors de la photographie, je travaille intensément avec la peinture. J'ai été touché par l'harmonie et la beauté du style Art Nouveau. Dans les images des préraphaélites et des symbolistes, j'ai trouvé de nombreux éléments de mon monde émotionnel.

Les thèmes picturaux, qui ont déterminé ma peinture très tôt, trouvent leur achèvement dans ma photographie d'aujourd'hui. Dans mes sculptures, l'image du visible devrait être un moyen de transmettre une réalité plus profonde.
