Madeira island of eternal spring

Madeira is a Portuguese island in the Atlantic Ocean, about 750 kilometres from the Moroccan mainland. Here, spring prevails all year round with temperatures ranging from 20 to 26 degrees. Greenery and blossoms are everywhere. The island, which was formed by volcanic activity, offers bizarre rock formations on the coast as well as high mountains and primeval forest and is therefore very popular with hikers.
